Who is Ally P?

I am a 26-year-old woman who is busy figuring out her life; and what her career will be. For the past 21 years, all I knew was being a soccer player. For the first time since I stop playing competitively, there was a lot to process and figure out. At times it is sad and I felt very unsure and alone, but, it is also exciting and a thrill. I have the privilege and the freedom to decide what I want to do with the rest of my life. It is a fresh start on a clean slate.

So I guess you do need to know some background about me so you know I am an actual human being and not a scam.

I grew up in Seekonk, Massachusetts and I recently moved to Franklin, Massachusetts with my husband and our puppy. I was lucky enough to have been raised by two loving parents, Janey and Charlie. I have a sassy and spicy younger sister, Isabella. I have a VERY big extended family, consisting of 15 aunts and uncles, and over 25 cousins. There maybe be more, I’m not sure but there are A LOT of us! Lets just say the parties, specifically holiday parties, we throw are CRAZY FUN! Now, there is always a catch. You think having a big family is great. Don’t get me wrong it is. But what they don’t warn you about is with a big family comes a lot of losses especially when you are one of the younger ones in the family.

Unfortunately, my mom past away from a long fight with cancer when I was in my junior year of high school. Then a couple of years after she passed, one of my aunts and cousins passed away from cancer as well. The last 10 years have been a little rough. But, those 10 years have made me into the woman I am today. I am proud of that. That is where photography and soccer comes into play.

Soccer was my escape from all the loss. I could immerse myself into it and forget all about reality. Photography helped me come to the realization of the loss. It also helped me learn to appreciate all the great memories I had with them and the rest of my family. When I feel low some days I catch myself looking at my old childhood pictures. Photography is a very powerful thing. That is why I am creating this business. I want to be the one to capture these moments of you enjoying the sport you love and the people who love and support you. So that one day you can look back and remember the great memories you had with your family. Because to me, family is #1.
